Almost 25 years after their original debut, The Simpsons are still topping charts. Sony has revealed that the recently re-released The Simpsons Arcade Game has topped the PlayStation Network charts for February, beating out strong competition from the likes of Gotham City Imposters and House of the Dead III.
Escape Plan took the honours on PlayStation Vita, while Final Fantasy VII maintained its grip on the PSone charts. In fact, it was a strong month for Final Fantasy in general, with Final Fantasy XIII-2’s Lightning DLC topping the add-on charts, and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions beating out all other competition on the PSP charts.
We bet publisher Square Enix is pleased.

Wow, so the game that was free for PS+ sold best? Some big news there. These idiots really need to stop countng free downloads.

Haha! No wonder. I own most of those. The Simpsons is really fun in co op mode.
Doesnt surprise me I know alot of people who have been waiting for this game to come out either on the Wii VC, XBLA, PSN or all three. Glad to see it came out on 2 out of the 3.
