Prepare yourself for a sea of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 content.

The American publisher's consistently posted remarkable DLC sales, and, perhaps as a reflection of that, its post release strategy is set to go into overdrive with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The publisher's announced that 20 DLC updates will be offered for the popular multiplayer shooter over the next nine months, with Call Of Duty: Elite subscribers poised to scoop up the goods first.

The first update will bring two new maps to the title, with Liberation and Piazza on the agenda. They'll launch on January 24th on XBOX Live, but due to Activision's exclusivity arrangement with Microsoft, PS3 owners will have to wait a few extra weeks to score the content.

“With the Call of Duty: MW3 Content Season for Call of Duty Elite, we are delivering on our promise of more new content, more often, and with more variety than ever,” said Activision's Eric Hrishberg.

Thankfully, the content should come thick and fast after the initial release, with regular updates planned right throughout the rest of the year. Hit the jump for a look at the upcoming maps.
