Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Is GAME's Most Pre-Ordered Title Ever

It might feel like Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's flying under the radar a teensy bit, but believe it or not this is just the calm before the storm

British retailer GAME has weighed in on the importance of the release, declaring it the most pre-ordered game in the retailer's history.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the most popular game for pre-orders that GAME and Gamestation have ever seen," company spokesperson Anne-Marie Mason told Eurogamer.

"Beating records set by last year's number one game, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now GAME Group's largest pre-order title in the company's history."

Call Of Duty's well known for breaking records — last year Call Of Duty: Black Ops became the fastest selling video game in history, shifting 1.4 million copies in a single day.

Whether or not Modern Warfare 3 can repeat the feat remains to be seen, but we certainly wouldn't bet against it.
