Sony's Really Kicking Up The Presence Of The PlayStation Store.

Realising that it has a huge opportunity to differentiate its platform through exclusive digital content, Sony has adopted the phrase in order to better promote those PSN titles that aren't available anywhere else.

Sony is opening the campaign with one exclusive a week throughout the month of October. Rochard, Eufloria and Sideway: New York are all part of the line-up this month, and will be joined by Okabu, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, inFamous 2: Festival Of Blood and PixelJunk Sidescroller.

That's a meaty line-up on its own. But Sony's also taken to stealthily announcing (what we assume will be the start of) PS2 classics on the system. The platform holder's announced that "rare classics" will get release on the PSN store, with God Hand, GrimGrimoire, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, Odin Sphere and Ring of Red being among the first. There's an unusually muted megaton right there.

PlayStation Plus members will get a 20 per cent discount on any exclusive content. Furthermore, those that spend $60 on any PSN content during the month of October — regardless of item — will get $10 credit next month. Sony's not confirmed whether the offer will be eligible in Europe.

Sony's really stepped up the PSN presence over the past few months. Promotions for its previous campaign — PSN Play — are still plastered all over the 'net. And it's already moving onto another serious promotion. Great stuff. We'll be interested to see if those PS2 games make it out worldwide.
