Counter-Strike is one of the most well-loved shooters on PC, but hasn't reached quite the same level of success on consoles, perhaps due to the controls not working quite as nicely on a traditional controller. That's about to change though, as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for PS3 will support PlayStation Move.
The next instalment in the terrorist-shooting series is due for a PSN release next year, with PlayStation Move support alongside the less-common mouse and keyboard implementation too. You'll also be able to play against Mac and PC players through Steam, another bonus for those wanting to pick it up on PS3.
Will you be signing up for the anti-terrorist squad next year?

When i get a PS3 with PSMove I'm so going to get this
I wasn't sure if I was going to get this, but with move support, i'm sold
This is awesome news! And, we get cross-platform support as well!
Awesome, I’m glad Valve have finally come to grip with the power of the PS3 and what it can offer. I’m also gald they have enabled Move support for this game. I'm sold.
I'm glad I finally came to grips with how awesome Steam is.
Thank you free Steam copy of Portal 2, you've definitely changed my gaming habits.
Will definitely buy this for PS3 if it also comes with free Steam CS:GO.
Awesome! With move support, cross plataform makes a lot of sense, since there will be no disvantage from PS3 players due to the dualshock not ebing as accurate as a mouse.
I thought this was about Valve developing a Counter Strike specifically for Move, I was about to go crazy! A lot more good Move only games have to be developed, PSMove needs a way better good Move only games support.
It's really nice to see games that aren't exclusive to Playstation getting some Move love. While not on the other home consoles, it'll be found on the PC and Mac, and perhaps this potential success will help it find deeper roots in console systems!
