The updated version of the PlayStation 3 title is set to get new characters, all of the DLC from the original version of the game, as well as new sequences, items and more. The game will also get trophies — which is a bizarre thing to say about a portable title. We're going to have to get used to that.

The game's due out this year on PlayStation Vita, which would presumably put it slap-bang within the handheld's Japanese launch window.

A word of warning: the trailer for this game is nuts. If you're of a nervous disposition, it might be worth skipping over this one.
