Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Will Probably Not Release On Consoles This Year.

Tekken overlord Katsuhiro Harada has cast doubt over the possibility of Tekken Tag Tournment 2 launching on PlayStation 3 this year. The game's due to release in Japanese arcades this Autumn.

Speaking of the game's console version, Harada told Eurogamer: "It's really hard to say. I can't say even that'll it'll be this year. We can't really have a console version right after the arcade version. Probably not this year is the only answer."

Harada registered interest in bringing the Tekken series to Sony's PlayStation Vita yesterday. Despite there being six Tekken games currently in development, Harada has teased that there are more titles in the works.

"You might be surprised to hear that this isn't even all of what we have for Tekken," he said. "There are some things we haven't announced yet. If you heard that you probably would be quite shocked at the volume overall."
