It was scary because of the things it didn't show you, not the things it did. So forgive us for labelling EA's "Your Mom Hates Dead Space 2" marketing campaign as the worst thing ever. While the mature ladies spew hyperbole such as, "I think it'll make a person go insane," we can't help but think it misses the point: Dead Space is not a gore fest for self-conscious teenagers. At least it wasn't. Should we be concerned about the direction of the sequel, or put this down to poor advertising?

We're leaning towards the latter. Why exactly are EA marketing an adult game at kids anyway?
