Joe Mauer returns as the cover athlete too

Sony's MLB The Show series is without a doubt the greatest recreation of baseball ever committed to playable form, so the news that next year's entry MLB 11 The Show will support PlayStation Move is a welcome update to baseball fans everywhere.

At the time of writing, it's believed only the home run derby mode will support PlayStation Move controls, which is either a welcome decision to save your arms dropping off or a missed opportunity, depending on which side of the baseball realism fence you sit on. The entire game will be playable with overhauled DualShock 3 controls, so we expect the Move support to be an optional extra as in NBA 2K11 rather than a necessary component of the game.
