Upcoming PSP Firmware Update Prepares For Qriocity

Sony's revealed that the PlayStation Portable's being prepped for a firmware update that will bring the platform holder's cloud-based streaming service, Qriocity, to the system

Qriocity Is Probably The Worst Name Ever. Ever.

SCEA revealed on the PlayStation Blog:

"PlayStation Portable system software update (v6.35) is coming soon. This is a minor update that prepares your PSP system for the upcoming launch of Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity a new, cloud-based, digital music service from Sony that will give music lovers access to millions of songs stored and synchronized through the cloud. A new icon for the service will be added to PSPs XMB (XrossMediaBar) under the Music category. You can read more about Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity here, and well report back when a launch date is announced."

Qriocity is a cross-platform system for video and music delivery that will allow multiple Sony devices to manage one account.
