A middle-Eastern firm has been quoted as saying “the third installment in the Uncharted series”. Not much to go on but... UNCHARTED 3, hype frenzy!

Seriously, Ghassan Ayoubi, executive director of Rubicon Holding, dropped the quote in regards to an initiative involving localising new titles for the Arab audience. The initiative will begin with MEC, one of Sony's distributor's in Saudi Arabia.

The work will begin on games in development, with FIFA 11 and Uncharted 3 the first titles to take advantage of the project.

As if a third title isn't coming, right? In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if it was announced before 2010's over.
