The report notes that Capcom are to reduce the development cycle on their major IPs, allowing them to release more entries in popular series' such as Resident Evil and Monster Hunter.

In order to increase development cycles, Capcom's set to make use of out-sourcing to North American and European studios, predicting they can reduce development cycles from four years to between two and three years. The report adds that Capcom aims to release four major titles each year.

Capcom's hoping to stabilize profits by releasing more software, but only time will tell as to what effect this has on quality.
