Live Major League Baseball's Heading To The Playstation 3.

The report states that sign-ups will be under way by the end of the week for the US-only service, allowing subscribers to watch live games.

“This is more than just a game console. This is a device that is redefining how content is being delivered to the living room,” Sony's Peter Dille said told NYT.

It's a pretty big deal for baseball fans, as Sony's exclusive MLB The Show franchise has long been the market leader in baseball video games. This also might start the shift of video game consoles offering television and sports content - something we expect Microsoft will have a word or two to say about at this year's E3.
