Treyarch's next foray into the Call Of Duty franchise - widely rumoured to be set in Vietnam - is due for release in November, ahead of the "gifting season" according to CVG

The Next Call Of Duty Game Is Set To Draw On Influences Such As Apocalypse Now.

Their source - a "senior UK trade rep" - said Activision had told them to expect the game in the same window as Modern Warfare 2.

The game's said to focus much more on plot this time around. Meanwhile, it's rumoured Infinity Ward are set to move on from the Call Of Duty franchise and create a new IP, which would leave Activision's rising dev team, Sledgehammer, in charge of Call Of Duty during Treyarch's year off.
