Microsoft's Cash Has Spoken. For Now.

If you're an XBOX owner in the UK, you might be aware that this morning the Sky TV service rolled out onto XBOX 360s.

To be perfectly honest, we're not quite sure how Microsoft are handling the whole service, but we assume it requires an existing Sky subscription and an XBOX Live Gold account.

Given that the service is a perk for British console owners however, many PS3 owners might be wondering when Sony will offer a similar solution. Well TechRadar asked Sky's Stephen Nuttall just when Sky was coming to the PS3. The answer? A non-answer really.

"So we - Microsoft and Sky - are very focused on making this an enormous success this autumn and working together to deliver a great project. ...To be honest we're kind of neutral about how people access our content and don't feel we should proscribe how people should be watching Sky. Our job is just to give people options."

As with every Microsoft "exclusive", expect to see it on the PS3 before 2010 is out.
