Will Brutal Legend Ever Be Free From The Shackles Of Lawyers?

However, following Activision's lawsuit against Double Fine regarding Brutal Legend comes an interesting snippet of information. Namely that according to DF Activision dropped the game because they wouldn't agree to it becoming a Guitar Hero sequel.

Ooft. Anyway, apparently Double Fine have issued a counter-suit against Activision claiming they were free from their contract to sell publishing rights to EA.

We're not inherently interested in Brutal Legend but we hope the game comes out of all this unscathed.
