Costume packs were expected and have now been confirmed. As revealed in the Japanese Famitsu there will be five costume packs containing new outfits for five fighters. They will cost about ¥400 each with a "combo pack" (containing all 25 outfits) setting you back ¥1,200. No brainer then.
Also confirmed for the Japanese audience is a free download entitled "Championship Mode". The free download will offer "tournament style network play". High ranked players will also have replays of their matches uploaded and saved to the Street Fighter serves for other gamers to study.
While this is all only confirmed for the Japanese market at the moment we fully expect it to come to the Western audience too.
