LittleBigPlanet "No Later Than Week Of November 3rd"?

"Nuh-uh," says Sony, "We're not giving you a concrete release date. Instead we'll cover our backs by announcing the game could release on any one of the next 19 days."

I don't understand why it only takes a week for Sony to sort out America's games and yet it may take 2 weeks for them to do Europe's?
