MLB The Show 23: How to Unlock Player Parallels Quickly in Diamond Dynasty

The core thing you need to know about player parallels is the more you play, the more they'll grow. It's a simple concept, but it's worth pointing out, because every plate appearance, hit, or RBI will contribute to your progress. Similarly, every player upgrades in exactly the same way. These are the thresholds you need to hit:
Green Parallel (+1): 500 Parallel XP
Orange Parallel (+2): 1,250 Parallel XP
Purple Parallel (+3): 3,000 Parallel XP
Red Parallel (+4): 5,000 Parallel XP
Superfactor Parallel (+5): 10,000 Parallel XP
As mentioned above, you'll earn Parallel XP for performing feats in-game. This includes everything from simple plate appearances to home runs and stolen bases. This is how Parallel XP is awarded:
Batters
Plate Appearances: 10 Parallel XP
Singles: 5 Parallel XP
Doubles: 10 Parallel XP
Triples: 20 Parallel XP
Home Runs: 20 Parallel XP
Runs: 5 Parallel XP
RBIs: 5 Parallel XP
Stolen Bases: 5 Parallel XP
Walks: 5 Parallel XP
Pitchers
Innings Pitched: 40 Parallel XP
Wins: 20 Parallel XP
Strikeouts: 10 Parallel XP
Quality Starts: 10 Parallel XP
Saves: 20 Parallel XP
Holds: 20 Parallel XP
Complete Games: 25 Parallel XP
Shutouts: 25 Parallel XP

Parallel XP is awarded at the end of every match you complete in Diamond Dynasty , although you maximise your income by playing on higher difficulties or in competitive multiplayer matches. If you play Conquest on Veteran difficulty instead of Rookie , for example, you'll add a 1.1x multiplier to the above numbers. And if you play Ranked online against a human opponent, you'll get 1.5x multiplier. This means you can unlock player parallels quicker if you play on higher difficulties or competitively. However, it's still possible to rank up your parallels in single player and on the lowest difficulty if you want to, it'll just take you longer.
One important thing to note is if you're constantly changing your team, it'll be harder to unlock parallels as you'll be sharing your Parallel XP across a greater number of players, rather than a core group. For this reason, it can be a good idea to settle on a roster you like and commit to it, rather than chopping and changing a lot. But don't worry if you do want to substitute a player out of your squad, as your existing Parallel XP will be saved as long as you hold onto that player and don't sell it on the Community Market .
