What's the best Auto Shop to buy in GTA Online? The Auto Shop is a new Business in GTA Online which allows you to run a legitimate car modding company, and take some slightly less savoury contracts on the side. Unlike other Businesses in the game, there's no passive money making method, although there are plenty of opportunities to get rich with the property. As part of our GTA Online guide, we're going to explain the best Auto Shop to buy.

GTA Online: Best Auto Shop to Buy

Before you can decide on the best Auto Shop to buy, you'll need to learn How to Find the LS Car Meet and Become a Member because there's a cut-scene involving Sessanta and Moodymann which introduces the property. Once you've seen this, you'll be able to visit Maze Bank Foreclosures using the Internet app on your smartphone, where there are 5 Auto Shops available. They are:

• Burton: GTA$1,830,000
• La Mesa: GTA$1,920,000
• Mission Row: GTA$1,670,000
• Strawberry: GTA$1,705,000
• Rancho: GTA$1,750,000

The location of all the Auto Shops is fairly central, and you can't really go wrong with any of them. If you're planning to spend a lot of time completing the Auto Shop Service missions, then you may want to select one of the northern locations like Burton, as this will save you a few seconds on deliveries. Ultimately, though, it doesn't matter.

In terms of Renovations, you don't really need any of these as they're mostly cosmetic. The Staff Member allows you to assign Auto Shop Service deliveries to an employee, although they'll always do damage to the vehicle, limiting your profit potential. Therefore it's not recommended. The Personal Quarters will allow you to spawn at the location and includes a Wardrobe and Gunlocker. Meanwhile, the Car Lift will enable you to work on two Auto Shop Services at once. All of these Renovations will come down to personal preference, but we'd recommend you skip them unless you're feeling flush.

GTA Online: Garage, Auto Shop Service, Contracts

The Auto Shop comes with a 10 car Garage by default, without the need to purchase any Renovations. As with other Garages in the game, you can position your cars how want using the Vehicle Management Menu. The Auto Shop also serves as a Mod Shop for your cars. Just get inside one of your cars and push right on the d-pad to modify it.

Beneath the mezzanine is a sweet bowl where you can stock up on supplies. You'll also find the Auto Shop Service on the opposite side of the Auto Shop. If you hired a Staff Member then you can assign them to deliveries, but they will eat into your profits by damaging the car during delivery.

On the mezzanine are two whiteboards: Contracts and Exotic Exports. Contracts are multistage missions best described as mini Heists which can earn you upwards of GTA$150,000. They feed into the Los Santos Tuners vibe by focusing on some fun car chases. Meanwhile the Exotic Exports list features a list of cars that you must steal and deliver to the Port for cash. It's reset every 24 hours.
