Wild Wretches are essentially stronger Wretches, which deal more damage by sapping Kratos' health. As such, the same tactics apply.
Wretches are annoying little creatures that tend to attack in packs. They're small and so they can be tricky to actually hit, but usually, one or two blows are thankfully enough to defeat them. They don't do much damage, but they can quickly surround Kratos and leave him reeling from multiple directions, potentially opening him up to attacks from bigger, stronger foes.
It goes without saying that Wretches need to be dealt with quickly, before they can start ganging up on you. The most efficient way of doing this is to use your blades, which have a long reach and fast attacks.
Wretches can also spawn from Wretch nests, which will need to be found and destroyed to stop an endless wave of critters. Usually, this is a simple enough task — just follow the little bastards to their nest and smash it to bits.
