If you're not happy with your build, regardless of your starting class, and would like to reassign your stat points, then the game does offer you a way to do this. In order to respec the stats associated with your character build, you must first beat Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon at the Academy of Raya Lucaria. If you're looking for help to do so, please click the following link: How to Beat Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon. Once she's been beaten, she doesn't disappear like any normal boss. It turns out you can now interact with her, granting you access to the ability to respec character stats. However, to do so, she requires an item: a Larval Tear. It turns out one of them can be located in the Liurnia of the Lakes region.

Find a Larval Tear

To locate a Larval Tear, you'll need to head to the Village of the Albinaurics. You'll find it directly south of the Academy of Raya Lucaria, buried underneath the cliffs. To be clear: you'll want to be in the lake itself when you head southward. Then look for gaps in the cliffs and you'll spot the village.

When you get there, head up the path leading to the village and you'll spot a small, rounded graveyard on your right with enemies surrounding it. If you pass by the ghost at the well, you've gone too far. Interact with the Larval Tear to pick it up and then fast travel back to the Site of Grace called Raya Lucaria Grand Library.

Now interact with Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon and select the Rebirth option. Use the Larval Tear and you'll be taken to the Rebirth menu. As the popup explains, you can't take any of the stats lower than what they were at the start of the game when you picked your starting class. Once you've assigned all your levels, confirm your selections at the bottom and you will have successfully respeced your character stats.
