Topic: Xenogears--Has it aged well?

I never got around to buying it growing up, and having played and become a huge fan of the Xeno games on Nintendo's systems I want to go back and give it a try.

(1) Would you still recommend it?
(2) Can you buy and/or transfer it to play on Vita?
