Cool, here's my list:

A PlayStation console
Some games

I'm not a snob, and attempts at elitism and exclusion kinda piss me off. Oh and for the record Grandia looked and played better on Saturn. Plus I never liked Crash Bandicoot. Although kudos for including Timesplitters and Timesplitters 2, everyone who worked on those games were bonefied geniuses and incredibly sexy to boot.

I played some of those PS2 games on GameCube so yeah, guess I’ll hand in my Playstation fan club card.

@SirAngry That is not elitism nor exclusion, it's just a list of games that are the best for every generation in my opinion. You are free to snob me and tell me your favourites

PS never owned a Saturn, but i'm not a snob so even a worse looking version is fine for me

@jak1one you said:

"i believe to be the ones you must play to be a true Playstation expert"

That is exclusion and elitism, sorry, but it is. There are people on this forum who are too young to have even owned a PS1 or PS2.

I really don't have the time or inclination to list all the PS games I've played lol. But here is my top 3 from each gen. This is a very personal list. Some games on it might not even be great, but I played them during a memorable or notable time in my life:

PlayStation 1
1. Final Fantasy IX
2. Street Fighter Alpha 3
3. Crash Bash

PlayStation 2
1. Onimusha 3
2. Timesplitters: Future Perfect
3. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

PlayStation 3
1. Sports Champions: Disc Golf
2. Need For Speed Hot Pursuit
3. Sonic Generations

PlayStation 4
1. The Witcher Wild Hunt
2. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
3. The Order 1886

I think I ate more PS1 discs than I played. Showing my age a little.

@SirAngry "i believe" should be your focus on my phrase. This is my opinion, you should not get offended, nor should kids that did not own PS1/PS2. This is a list I made to ask for other people's opinions, not to debate on what elitism is. Only videogames please, this is not an ethic forum

@nessisonett PMSL, I'm definitely not that young, but one of my cats destroyed my copy of WipEout 2097.

@TheIdleCritic Great favourites, just don't agree on PS3 ones, never been a fan of need for speed

@SirAngry Poor Metal Gear Solid disc 2 had bite marks all over it so my dad chucked it.

@nessisonett My Little brother destroyed my grandia disc. Had to rebuy it years later

That should be considered a crime ahahaha

@jak1one Honestly, I've only played 3; NFS III (wasn't that in to video games back then but I liked cars!), Underground 2, and Hot Pursuit - My friend and I spent so many evenings playing it, I would do race missions and he would do the cop ones. Reminds me of great days, so it rates highly for me.

jak1one

@TheIdleCritic That's the same for me: a game like Pandemonium! reminds me good days with friends, so it's on the list

@jak1one A game that I left off is Fade To Black on the PS1. Again, spent so many nights with a childhood friend playing it. But I remember it being so slow and awkward to play so it can't reasonably be on my list lol.

Let's start at the beginning...
Pong

Atari 2600
Adventure
Pitfall
Empire Strike Back
Combat
Warlords
Defender
Haunted House
Joust
E.T.

Then NES, SNES, Genesis, PlayStation, PC, PS3, PS4...and here we are.
