@Octane wheyyyy! Switch I guess? Not that it matters. I have been thinking about picking it up on Switch, though.
I hope you like it, I really had a blast. The whole time I was just really impressed that one dude made it. But it could have been one of those right time/right place type deals.
The main theme tune gets me pumped. I have been playing Super Metroid on Snes mini but it's just making me want to play AV if I am honest!
@kyleforrester87 The only game I bought for the Switch in 2018 was Minit. I want to get a bit more use out of the system; so why not on Switch I thought. And it's less than a gigabyte in size. But I should really get an SD card at some point in the future I think.
@ArkhamKnerd I will say it is easier to find time to play Switch as it is portable but I think I just say that to make myself feel better about my huge backlog! Good selection of games, hope you enjoy!
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
@Octane@kyleforrester87 Think I must have sunk 30+ into Axiom Verge, brilliant game. Have to admit though, the music did begin to grate towards the end of my play through.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@JohnnyShoulder I agree, certain tracks in particular got on my nerves, but even that acted as a reminder that it was all done by one guy - music n all. Not bad for a non-musician!
@Knuckles-Fajita Sounds good to me, I played none of them. Like the look of all 3. Dunno if I'll get round to them any time soon mind you, and if I dont get them in the launch window I always feel like waiting for a sale.
@kyleforrester87 I played NSMBU and while it is my favourite of the "New" games along with the original "New" title, I have yet to play Luigi's stuff. I may ask for it alongside Wolf2 for my birthday.
Regarding No More Heroes, I have the original on Wii, yet to play it. Cost me about £2.
And Yoshi...christ. Yoshi I just can't get into. I got 100% in Woolly World but I have no drive to play any of the other games and Crafted World is coming to soon for me to consider it. Yeah it's been almost 4 years exactly, but I'm still burned out on Yoshi platforming styles.
Heck even Donkey Kong has the same problem. I've just bought Tropical Freeze on Switch and it's....eh. I've never liked how DK controls. It feels imprecise to do some of his moves.
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Woot! Finally cleared SSBU's "World of Light" with the true ending!
the Galeem & Dharkon combo has to be the toughest boss I've fought in ages. It took me about 10 tries I'd say, and it certainly has come across as the hardest final boss I've yet faced in a first party Switch title.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
@KratosMD If you played 20 hours you kinda know what you're gunna get. I have thought about getting the Switch version quite a few times but frankly I play 80% of Switch on my TV so why bother? The PS4 Pro version is native 4K too so it really is a drop down in resolution on the big screen if you're used to that version.
So personally I'd say unless you do a lot of handheld get the better, cheaper PS4 version, and benefit from a few of the cool mods that exist too. Not having a Pro and 4K TV reduces the argument a bit, and not enjoying the noisy PS4 fans reduces it further.
I would get the Switch version for around £20-£25 I reckon.
