Topic: A Master List of Games That Are Compatible With PSTV (Plus Game Suggestions)!

@Tasuki PS Now is available until August lol. Anyways I added a few more games to the list.

What games from the compatible list would you guys suggest for a newcomer who absolutely loves JRPG's, adventure games, and Visual Novels?

I already have the original Stein's Gate, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, and both Trails of Cold Steel games on PS3 so those are off the list.

@Rudy_Manchego Actually that's not true anymore. A bunch of launch games do now via patches, the problem is most of the developers done goofed up and didn't list the inclusion of PSTV support in their patch notes. Unfortunately that means it's up to people who own a Vita and PSTV to take the plunge and test to see which ones are now supported. Even though this list is "complete" it only list games that have been confirmed by the developers & or publishers and as such some compatible games might be missing from the list.

Plague Road and Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Edition are PSTV compatible, I personally tested Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Edition and Plague Road's developer has confirmed the game will be supported on PSTV so the list has been updated.

@Get2SammyB @ShogunRok @Tasuki you guys may want to write a opinion feature regarding this because it is EXTREMELY important, but apparently Sony can and will delist certain games from being PSTV compatible. I can confirm this because a week and a half ago I purchased Gunslugs for my PSTV and it was 100% compatible, however when I tried to boot it up this morning I couldn't and instead was greeted by a message that the software isn't compatible with PSTV...

Needless to say I removed the game from the list, but be warned it's still listed as a compatible game through the PSTV's version of PSN...

Are any of the Tell tale games on the Vita? I know The Walking Dead is but I was wondering more along the lines of Batman or Tales from the Borderlands?

@Tasuki I believe there is only Walking Dead season 1 and 2 and A Wolf Among Us.

There was a promise on their website to bring Tales from the Borderlands, GOT and Minecraft I think over but that was in 2016 and radio silence so I am guessing it is a big no. I guess these games might run ok via remote play.

It is disappointing because I played all three on my Vita as these were just perfect for car or train journeys and played equally well as their janky PS4 versions!

@Rudy_Manchego Unfortunately remote play is not an option, as I was looking for something to play while the PS4 is in use. Thanks anyway.

Updated the list, removed several discontinued apps, added New Danganronpa V3 (Demo), removed the Japan exclusive tag from Valkyria Revolution.

@themcnoisy just a warning this list only confirms NA compatible games, there might be a handful of games that don't work on a EU model PSTV.

I added the Vita title Cursed Castilla (Maldita Castilla EX).

Also yesterday's OS update increased the PSTV's video output from 580i to 780i resulting in a much clearer resolution that's close to being as clear as playing on an actual Vita "Not quite, but MUCH closer"!

I actually sold my PSTV. It was a nice little niche device but it wasn't for me. Most of the Vita library just didn't click with me and the games I really wanted to play weren't compatible with the PSTV.

So since I didn't play it much and don't foresee myself anytime soon due to having a huge backlog on a bunch of other systems I sold it to my local game shop for $10.

I updated the list again. Does anyone know if Iconoclasts is PSTV compatible? I REALLY want that game!

Also does anyone else think this thread should be sticky?

And just cause they sold 5 million doesn't necessarily mean 5 million are in use. Heck they got a from me and I sold mine months ago.

@Tasuki To be fair this thread is one of the most viewed topics here on the Vita board 16,800+ views is pretty darn high.
