Which type of gamer are you? what is it about your gaming style that makes you feel like you meet either criteria, and which are your favorite games that you feel meet the brief?

I'll kick things off by describing myself as an introverted gamer, I like games like Dark Souls, The Witcher and God of War, I don't really engage with people online in pvp, so wouldn't describe myself as an aggressive player, I occasionally summon help in the Souls games but that is a rare and awkward experience for me, because it is inviting someone else into my world, as it were. (albeit temporarily). And as for the creative side of things, I invest a great amount of time in the construction of my characters, and before I gave up on God Of War's NG+ (I had beaten the game twice at that point on NG) I was researching a specific build with the Zeus armour, which I may go back to later on a subsequent playthrough.

I think i am introvert gamer and also kiddie gamer.
I called myself kiddie gamer because i am against rated 18+ games as my childhood has been ruined by rated 18+ things from video games and or movies that happened to me by accidentally. As my retaliation, i hate every single rated 18+ video games and movies, i became a kiddie gamer as my redemption to experience with kiddie stuffs only, stay away from disguting rated 18+ stuffs.
As a gamer, i have very great talent in Art so rhythm games like DDR / Beatmania IIDX / Para Para Paradise and life sim games like The Sims / Animal Crossing New Horizons are my main genre.

Btw, you have created so many different threads.
At least reply my comments.
I was here, i was exist here.

I’m absolutely an introvert, textbook like the article describes.

I find all social activity with anyone outside of a very small circle of family/friends to be profoundly anxiety-inducing. Including online multiplayer games, ESPECIALLY if there's voice chat involved.

In terms of gaming, I hate playing with strangers as it always devolves into one or two people having an ego trip. I’m probably like a 5 irl though, I have a life, at least before Covid.

Plumbing’s just Lego innit. Water Lego.

Probably a bit of a mix for me, just like in real life. Invading and summoning in Souls games is fine as there's no voice chat.

Although I am particularly wary of not messing people around that I've summoned, as I'm conscious they've made the effort to lend me their assistance.

Definitely introverted gamer here too.
I always have a very small group of friends and most of those are family that I can't remember the last time we spoke online..if at all.
I used to play a lot of COD on the Xbox 360 years ago with colleagues but now it's very unusual that I will play multiplayer online games.
Being partly deaf from birth hasn't helped either, especially as it's got worse with age (and Shingles in January) so my confidence is always low and the thought of chatting through headsets make me panic.
