@Th3solution @LordGlarc Portal 2 was an absolute triumph of comedic writing. Can't believe I forgot about Wheatley and GladOS while compiling my list. J.K. Simmons was great in it, too (but then he's pretty much great in everything he's in)

Among all my video game characters I love the most I choose Geralt from The Witcher because he chooses moral actions while also maintaining charisma followed by Lara Croft because of her exciting personality together with Joel from The Last of Us because he makes players experience deep emotions and Kratos from God of War because he transforms over time until I reach Link from Zelda whose world and sounds captivate me the most. I needed https://www.timesaver.gg/world-of-warcraft/retail/gold when I had insufficient time for complete gameplay due to which I skipped the slower segments to immerse myself in the narrative.

@GirlVersusGame You mentioning the horse from Red Dead 2 reminded me of the horse in Shadow of the Colossus. As its your sole companion in the game, I became quite attached to Argo.

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Speaking of random companions, I quite liked the water blobby creature in Jusant. It's just such a charming game and it captures something quite real with how they interact with each other.

And also cat and robot in Stray, you'd have to be a hard husk of a person not to enjoy their friendship, too.

Going to have to mention Henry of Skalitz again, as in KCD2 he is becoming even more entertaining and even more charmingly played by Tom Mckay. If he doesn't win the TGA leading actor Jeff is going to need a good slap 😛 the work they put in to KCD2 is mindblowing, and the performance really brings the character to life.

I genuinely can't believe how they made "just a regular lad being a regular lad" so damn good for a video game. You'd think you'd need more than that, but you really don't. And some of the sh*t he comes out with in the sillier moments... it really is like the Inbetweeners set in 1403 at times 😅

When it seems you're out of luck.

1. Alucard - Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Yes, he is edgy, but his design is so damn awesome! Thanks Ayami Kojima! He helps the Belmont clan starting with Trevor all the way up to Julius and Soma.

2. Elizabeth - Bioshock Infinite. This is the BEST "escort" mission of all time Actually I feel like Elizabeth is escorting me throughout the game and helping me with ammo and health in battle. Her abilities are damn cool, opening rifts between the dimensions because her pinky is somewhere in another dimension, thus giving her the powers!

3. Leon S. Kennedy - Resident Evil Series. What is not to like about Leon? He is tough and really likable! He is portrayed as someone who will end the mission or die trying!

4. Ethan Winters - Resident Evil 7 and 8. I know this is controversial for many as Ethan is "bland", but I associate him as a man that will give everything for his family, literally! And that is why he is on my list.

5. Doomguy - DooM series. He does not kid around. He is there to rip and tear until it is done. We need more people like that
