I've been meaning to give Share Factory a go for a while, so I tried it out today, and made a Red Dead video to celebrate finishing the game at last. @RogerRoger you were right, it's good, I should've started using it ages ago.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@RogerRoger Anything you've spent a decent amount of time on is always worth finishing, I say.

I'm now wondering how I can use it to best effect on my mass of videos. I smell a Soulsborne boss run video...

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@RogerRoger Yeah, I like doing things like that. I've never done it with video game footage though. I had a couple of hours with it this morning to get my head around it, but it's similar to other editing suites, although with its own little quirks, as you say.

I've got tons of video on there, and I've probably deleted just as many.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@RogerRoger Yeah, the Red Dead one should appear in the 'What's New' list, or failing that, under my recent activities. It's a fairly basic stringing-together of Arthur getting into various scrapes, but it's good for a chuckle.

I'm usually good at remembering to press the Share button, but what I've done on a couple of occasions is accidentally save the screenshot rather than the video, which can be a bit heartbreaking.

Hey all, I have had a stressful time of life recently and been rather stressed out. As a result, my lovely other half has forced me to take the next two days off from work to just site and chill on the sofa with some games. This is a rarity for me. Problem is - what do I play? With a backlog bigger than an elephants, er, trunk, I am torn.

Here are my thoughts so far:

1) Finish Shadow of the Tomb Raider (about 1/3rd through the story).
2) Finish Zelda Wind Waker on GC
3) Start MGS: Twin Snakes on GC
4) Play the Occupation
5) Start Hyrule Warriors on Switch
6) Play LIfe Is Strange Before the Storm.

Any votes?

@Rudy_Manchego I'd go for Tomb Raider for two reasons. 1) You've already started it, 2) It's the only one in the list that I'm familiar with!

@Rudy_Manchego Hyrule Warriors - semi-mindless action smashing should prove pretty cathartic without the tension or stress of something more serious. Also, play in handheld mode and it's an easier thing to just put down and not be too concerned about to go off and make a cup of tea or a snack or just watch something.

@Rudy_Manchego Finishing games always makes me feel good; so I'd say go for Wind Waker and Tomb Raider.

I found Hyrule Warriors to be quite repetitive and boring; but I'm not a fan of those games in general.

@crippyd @KALofKRYPTON @Octane Thanks y'all, I am thinking that I may soldier on with Tomb Raider. It's a good game but not amazing (so far) mainly because I have played the others and this is similar but it will feel good finishing.

Then if I manage to finish it, I will look at either Wind Waker or starting Hyrule warriors. Decision made!

@Kidfried Sorry I am completely set on my intended plan and nothing will place doubt in my mind.

... although, you are right, I could finish it quite quickly and I imagine it is an easy platinum as well and...

... darn it.

@Kidfried Ha Ha - don't worry. I think I will stick with Shadow of the Tomb Raider and I can't take an emotional gut punch like the ending of LiS Season 1 if something similar happens at the end of before the storm.

@Kidfried I feel bad for SEGA and everyone else associated with the game. That being said, I still think it's great that they have that kind of law in Japan.

Huntin' monsters erryday.

Thrillho

@Rudy_Manchego Especially Twin Snakes.

You could have completed half the game in between my posts

@Rudy_Manchego what I great way to recharge! The last time I had a similar situation with an illness that forced me to stay home I got some great gaming done.
I’ve only played 1&6 on your list, both of which I adored. Honestly, LiS BtS is a good way to destress since the gameplay is very chill and story driven. An easy one to sit back and relax. In some ways it’s even better than the original LiS. So if you liked that, then you’ll be happy with it. Shadow of the TR was great fun, but maybe a little less relaxing since it has some combat and stealth scattered in with all the exploration and tomb raiding.
Have fun and above all relax, man!

@Thrillho Ha ha - not the way I play!!

@Th3solution I loved Life is Strange and had Before the Storm on the shelf for months. Will see how I get on with Tomb Raider!

@Rudy_Manchego hope you enjoy your destress gaming session cuz.
