Here is all I know. In Radio Rebel when the principal didn't expel Radio Rebel when she found out, because everyone else said THEY'RE Radio Rebel. Some principal she turned out to be. In some anime on YouTube where a girl asked someone why they were so angry, then suggested it was because his father threw him off of a cliff. ??? In Spongebob when Spongebob flew threw the ceiling, with news of a cruise, and Mr. Krabs grabbed bags out the bare ground.
i'm not sure what was going on because i haven't seen it myself, but that 'Radio Rebel' thing sounds like it was a play on Spartacus -- you know, the part in the movie where Spartacus is captured along with a bunch of other dudes and the other guys are all 'which of you is Spartacus' and they're all 'I'm Spartacus' 'No, I'm Spartacus!' basically everyone in the group stands up and says they're Spartacus, and they all wind up punished as a group. That moment has been referenced and parodied over and over and over throughout the years since that movie's release, so idk if you can really call it 'stupid' on its own merits.
actually, the things you've brought up sound more like silly moments meant for comic relief, not 'zomg srs' moments meant to be taken at absolute face value.

[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
A 1960 movie? I thought that joke was older than dirt.:/ Also, I'm surprised you didn't point out Capcom's media incident, TBD. He did say media history, after all, and I know the crap that guy said ranks up there for me.
