Sooooo, what if one day, all the members of pushsquare (and maybe pure XBOX) went on Nintendolife. We could start a thread there, and start commenting on others threads and storys. Maybe we could even attract some new pushsquare users. Is anyone interested in this idea? We already are members, so there wouldn't be any hassle.
I dont know if you realize this but Nintendo Life, Push Square and Pure Xbox are all part of the same "network" meaning that most members here do make threads over there. I for one visit each site at least daily.
Since they are part of the same network I am sure people do check out the other sites so I am not quite sure what you are suggesting.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure most people on here came from Nintendo Life, since the two are sister sites. I started on NL a long time ago and moved here once the fanboyism got to be too crazy on NL.
I knew that NL and Pushsquare are all part of the same "family"...and your idea is good, but personally, I have no interest to even visit NL, because I have zero interest in Nintendo consoles or their software. Just isn't my cup of tea.
Honestly, the best way that you can help this site to grow is to tell your friends, share our stories on Twitter and Facebook, and just generally interact with the site. Really appreciate your enthusiasm to drive the community, though!
I'm not going back to Nlife since that dumb article on GTA 5. The direction that site is going in is not good.
Pushsquare shares writers with Nintendo Life. Also, one article made you turn away?
I honestly doubt many N-lifers would be interested in PushSquare and keep in mind begging is against the rules on both sites anyway, so tread carefully.
Nah. I've never read anything so blatantly ignorant as that on this site. I like to think Sony fans are a little more grown up and not stuck in the fan boy trap of justifying your own choice of game like Zelda by misinterpreting another game like GTA.

What's to misinterpret about GTA? It has seriously bad content that shouldn't be in anything to some of us.

@ScroogeMcLz begging? It's not "begging". I was just *THINKING* about starting a thread there and posting a link. I'm pretty sure most NL users think that NL's sony site is called sonylife. Just sayin'.

I don't think there really is a need for this. If the staff were interested, they'd post links themselves. But the thought is at least nice

Even though i disagree with you, i appreciate your ability to show an opinion. I also appreciate the fact that you were mature about it to. Thank you.

Well Nintendo Life started off like Push Square (relatively small) and it grew on its own.
I think there were other threads that talked about this site, but they got buried. Most of N-life's Sony fans post in the Sony threads anyway and from what I can tell, many of them are here anyway.
That NL GTA V article was pretty bad, no offense. I mean sure the game is very sexist, but that's real life. Whether you like it or not, we live in a world dominated by men. It's a fact. There are sexists and strip clubs out there, and even some women are sexist and enjoy strip clubs. I don't think that the misogyny portrayed in GTA V is unrealistic at all. That was not one of NL's better reads.

Something existing in real life does not justify it's existence in entertainment. Some thins shouldn't exist in any form.

And this is the reason it should be exploited in entertainment? That makes it OK?

I must say that your comment threw me a little. This is a genuine attempt to understand where you are coming from. I fear I risk my questions offending, which is not my intention, so please feel free to just not answer if you would prefer.
Which things specifically cross the line. The violence? Torture scene? Strip Club? Misogynist view of women? (which certainly all exist in the game).
There is nothing in GTA V that hasn't been done a million times worse on film. Would you not have films portray those negative aspect of real life as well, or do you believe that gaming should be held to a different standard because it is interactive?
Are you saying that all entertainment should only focus of the good and happy parts of life (censor everything else)? Or are you saying that these negative aspects of life just should not be focused on and glorified, by being used as entertainment?
What if a game focused on the horrible side of life, but didn't glorify it. Perhaps something like Heavy Rain? Is that acceptable?

@Ginko Okay, so I believe sexual content is always wrong regardless of the media it's in. I think it's just inappropriate to show. I generally hold film and game to the same standereds with violence. I think there is a point where things go too far with violence, but if what it shows isn't too graphic, then I don't really care if you kill a criminal or old lady. I think that torture scenes follow the same idea as violence, it's fine as long as it's not too graphic with what they show. For example, I haven personally played it, but with the airport scene in MW2, from what I know it was a bit too gorey, but it doesn't bother me that your a terrorist shooing people. I think there is a bit of a place for context with violence, but it's a smaller area. For example, I watched the first 4 episodes of the TV series Hannibal, it takes a psychological look at gruesome muders, but it's not a particularly violent show (in the action sense). It's not showing someone get disassembled by killers slowly and painfully. (There is a bit with Will seeing what happened in his mind after looking at the scene, but I hope you get what I mean.) I also think there is never an excuse to drop an F bomb or call someone an A. Oh and don't worry, your question did't offend me at all. I hope this clears things up for you.
