The other day, I picked up Milano's Odd Job Collection from my wish list, and am looking forward to using it as a nice stop-gap distraction at some point.

So I love the look of Romeo is a Deadman but wanna wait for the potential physical copy that has been rumoured. Went down a bit of a Suda 51 rabbit-hole anyway though and made some purchases on PS3, PS4 and PS5 (thought I’d include them altogether here though):
No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise (PS3)
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes (PS4)
No More Heroes 3 (PS5)
The first one was pretty pricey too… could’ve got it a little cheaper if I’d gone with the Japanese version but wanted the US version. Apparently No More Heroes 2 has never come to PlayStation otherwise I’d have picked up a copy of that too.
@LordDieALot I'm trying to buy RE:req on launch day, but wait for October and make it my Halloween game for 2026. Idk if I can do it though, it looks so freaking good man. Halloween is a long ways off. But this would indeed be the perfect Halloween/summer is over celebration game to dive into haha
@Ravix I'm really tempted, especially as the Royal (with cheese) edition is on sale for something like 6 quid. But I will wait to hear if the performance issues have been fixed before getting it.

I too have “purchased” the next gen KCD update although I’m not going to play for a while, but I might fire it up to try and get the really annoying trophies out of the way (no auto pop but finishing your old save again should pop the annoying ones).
Anyway if anyone is interested there was a dev livestream on their Warhorse Studios YouTube channel, just watching it now.
@JohnnyShoulder From the performance reviews I’ve seen it seems to be rock solid at 60fps if you have HD textures turned off in the options, if you switch it on then you might get the odd drop but nothing of serious note. It is a really great game and well worth playing, a bit difficult at the beginning as you need to train your skills so don’t get put off if you get clobbered by the milk maid.
I bought Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The second game looks interesting to me, but I dunno how I'd get on with the difficulty, so I couldn't justify buying it. £6.99 for the first game seems like a deal that's too good to pass up. If I don't like it then I've not wasted much money.
@CaptD it's funny remembering how hard it can seem to a new player. I loaded it just to have a look on a new save last night and decided to mess about in the first area to see if I could break the game. Not advisable 😂 i've been to jail 6 times and died multiple times. Of course, a new player is unlikely to do any of this as there is no real reason to try and be a cutthroat bandit in such a quaint setting early on, but it definitely reminds you how the game is weighted and how even if you know how to play, any legit fight will kick your ass because Henry is just a dumb peasant.
For a new player they usually discover this as the world opens up more, and the lesson is usually swift and brutal and will likely cost a large chunk of gameplay, and that is when the strong learn or the weak give up and moan that it's too hard for them 😁 but the best advice will always be... it isn't hard for you as the player, it is hard for Henry the dumba$$ peasant, until he actively learns some things.
It was funny though, I instantly decided to bully the guy who is always forking the hay near the forge. And eventually my bounty was too high and I could only ever flee guards, and it is basically impossible to advance after doing that 😅
@Ravix
I was reading the next gen update notes and they fixed quite a few bugs, (I’m guessing) probably fixes which were in the PC version but not integrated into the PS4 build.
One such bug basically broke my first playthrough, late game where a certain event happens if you had completed one of the DLCs then the game would just loop and you couldn’t progress. So thankfully this won’t occur again for me.
@CaptD Cheers for the info. Think it is on sale until the 25th, so have until then to make my mind up. Not the first time I will have been clobbered by a milkmaid. Ahem

Pre-Ordered the Steelbook edition of RE9 and along with it ordered Little Nightmares 3 for the PS5.

I think Kingdom Come is gonna be one of the best semi niche experiences or one of the most miserable you’ll ever have. I’ve seen no in between, both crowds seem quite passionate in their stance but as a spectator, I can’t help but occasionally poke the bear then grab popcorn. It’s interesting to see how this game affected people so deeply, both for the better, and worse.
Playing Xenoblade, feel free to add me on switch or steam. ✌️
Party in XB1:
Shulk - lvl6
Reyn - lvl3
Fiora - lvl5
I bought Kingdom Come: Deliverance too. I have it on Steam but I thought with next gen upgrade it will be on par with PC and I usually prefer to play on console.
I also bought Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol.1 and finally can see what's all the fuss about.
