Topic: PS5 Audio Question

I've heard and read much about PS5 3D/surround audio, but nothing those of us that due to military service, work exposure or congenital reasons have hearing difficulties! Personally, my hearing problem is due to small arms fire and demolitions work as a combat engineer, left ear having dramatically more loss than right. I've been attempting to find out whether the PS5 audio that is being promoted as state of the art, will have the ability to adjust left/right ear volume so that those of us users that require it can balance without having the volume so high that it puts the hearing in the less poor hearing ear in jeopardy. If the new PS5 gaming headsets would have this ability that maybe an option as well, this ability, either in the console or the headset would go far in aiding my decision on whether to upgrade from PS4 to PS5.

If anyone could help in this it would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure anyone can officially "answer" your question. However, I do doubt whether you'll be able to modify the audio channels to favour your good ear sadly. Where are you based? The UK? Or elsewhere, because there are a number of charities / groups of hackers / modders / makers who might be able to help you with a specific audio solution for you. You might also want to contact Sony's accessibility team because they might be able to help you. I'll see if any one I know has their contact details.

From Canada, letter about 4 months ago to Sony Canada did not even generate an acknowledgement of receipt. Hence trying PS user community or others for help.
