Topic: We need more games like Alien Isolation

I recently replayed this on PC and was surprised at how well it still holds up, why do we not get games like this anymore, stealth/horror where the protagonist isn't the all powerful, I would even settle for a remake the game sure deserves it.

There have been a few over the years, and there are probably more than listed below.

Top Games Like Alien: Isolation

• A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead – A first-person horror game that directly mirrors the helplessness and sound-detection mechanics of Alien: Isolation, requiring you to stay completely silent to survive blind creatures.
• Routine – A terrifying sci-fi horror game set on an abandoned moon base featuring a rogue automated security network and relentless, frightening enemies.
• Amnesia: The Dark Descent – A classic first-person survival horror game where you have no weapons, must hide in the darkness, and manage your character's sanity while avoiding monsters.
• Amnesia: The Bunker – A tight, claustrophobic survival game trapping you in underground WWI tunnels with an elusive, reactive monster.
• Dead Space (Remake) – A tense, grungy sci-fi horror experience set on a sprawling, blood-soaked spaceship, though you have the power to fight back against Necromorphs.
• Monstrum – A single-player survival game where you must scavenge a drifting ship to build an escape route while hunted by a random, unpredictable monster.

I've not played all of those so cannot vouch for their quality. I would not say Dead Space is like Alien Isolation, but included it as it is an awesome game and everyone should play it.

Haunting Ground (AKA Demento) is great too. You can't kill the enemies, you can only slow them down and do your best to flee or hide. I've never finished it!

Considering it's so expensive on disc now, this is one I'd like to see available on newer platforms. Using and training Hewie is lots of fun and makes you feel like you're not alone.

I'm a horror game fan but honestly haven't finished it! Being pursued gets me and the music and atmosphere are awesome.
