Hi.

Just got myself a new PlayStation 5, since i earlier recieved a PlayStation with a rattle noice when i unboxed it, i wanted to make sure the new one did not have any loose parts inside.

I turned it upside down, and i shaked it for 2-3 seconds with my hands, no loose parts to hear on this one, but i come to think about if it was a bad idea to Shake it? It was turned off but anyway i wanted to ask here, if it’s all good or if it’s not so good because of some fragile parts inside there?

Tnx for some feedbacks.

Nah I’m pretty sure there are absolutely no fragile parts inside a PS5.

🙄

A couple of shakes isn’t going to hurt it but it’s not recommended lol. I am sure the delivery man gave it a good knocking about for you anyway!

Personally I give mine a quick blitz in the blender every morning. Keeps it running smooth.

I put jam in the disk drive of mine every morning.

Yes true never thought of it that way, it’s many places it have been in shippment, long way from factory to the customer, it is a lot of steps and who knows how much it have "shaked" already lol.

@Pieterslk As long it wasn't like an English nanny shaking a Polaroid I think you should probably have nothing to worry about. I keep mine on top of an unbalanced dryer unit. Zero issues.

Thanks for the reply, funny about the many lol, do you just joke now or do you really have it on a dryer? Yes some daily vibrations is common here too, like for example it’s not long away from the main heavy outdoor, and if someone jam the door when they come or go it also cause some small vibrations but it’s minimal.
