So it was my birthday yesterday and i got two play station 5 consoles as gifts. one digital and one standard edition.
Really confused on which of them is better. plan on selling one.
@JechtUltima hank you. care to recommend any good games? preferable something to test cognitive prowess lol. and any good store get disks and possibly a way to dispose of the second piece.
Happy birthday!! I agree with the others, you should keep the one with the disk drive as it gives you the most choice about where to buy from. Alternatively you could keep both just in case someone else muscles in on your only PS5 and you've got nothing else to play... or does that just happen to me?
@samson001 Don’t overlook Astro’s Playroom which comes on the console. It’s a fantastic little platformer that really showcases the controller and is a great homage to the history of PlayStation if you’re a longtime fan!
@samson001 Ha ha none taken 😀. @Thrillho suggestion of Astros is a good one, it's a great game no matter what age you are. Two games that aren't on that list that I can also thrown in there are Returnal and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. The former is great if you are into difficult fast paced games and have some patience (probably good to do a bit of reading around on that one first to know what you are getting yourself in for first) and R&C is a great looking game that is fun to play and you can make it as difficult as you like.
@JechtUltima yeah that would’ve been my play as a youngster for sure but being a veteran of more nights out on the pi$$ than I care to remember (basically an old codger) I’m just a creature of home comforts now and I’ve been mulling over a second PS5 for a while.
I’m moving August/September and will have a designated game room… and I’m already getting concerned about not having a PS5 in the lounge.
