Since consoles are becoming increasingly like PCs anyway: actual settings options for PS5 games. It doesn't even need to be elaborate, but having the option to play games in lower-res performance modes would be wonderful. I don't care about 4KTV support.
Id love to have an option for higher frame rate vs resoution for ALL games.
Way more customization for the UI, resize/move ui ie top or bottom/transparency/brightness.
Id like to be able to customize the look of the icons separately from the background pic and icon sound fx

And if you are gonna drop your consoles, that is not gonna end well. Take more care of your consoles man.

The ability to play older generation PS discs! And less obsession with the online thing. Never got into this whole online gaming sh*t and PS4 is way too concerned with it, especially. I assume PS5 will probably go even wilder when it comes to online gaming sigh
Im just old school. I like to take my time with the games, by myself, lost in another world disconnected from reality. I tried the online thing few times and it got on my nerves. Its as if everyone playing online is high on adderall or monster energy drinks. Always rushing you. Jeez.
I want it to give me stats, like how long I've spent playing a game, how many enemies I've killed in it, how many times I've jumped, whatever. You know like those wrap up things you get at the end of a year? I want things like that but at the touch of a button. What's the rarest trophy I have? What's my quickest platinum? I want loads of pointless stats I can look at.
@johncalmc You can get all that from external sites such as TrueTrophies, but yeah it would be neat if you could do it on the console. I don't hold much hope for that kinda stuff though, if they have only just managed to to get name changes working (and that came with a bunch of caveats).
I reckon Sony will be prioritising stuff like getting backwards compatibility working and hopefully a better store on the console.
