Topic: Issues with controller not connecting

I am having several issues with my controller. I have the Sony brand charging dock. Whenever I put my PS5 into sleep mode and put my controller on the dock, after charging, the controller will turn on and turn on my ps5 when I hit the ps button, but it will not connect after that. I get the "press the PS button on your controller" screen and no matter how much I press it, it won't connect. Th only fix is to hard shut down the ps5 and restart.

I also noticed this same thing happens when leaving my PS5 on sleep mode all night and trying to start the next day.

Anybody know how to fix this? I've honestly had nothing but trouble with this thing. Wishing I just kept my ps4

On another note, does anybody know of a PS5 forum that is active? Can't find anywhere that other users chime in on PS5 questions. Seems odd

@iyiyi The official PlayStation forums were closed down last year I believe, so the closest thing you are gonna get is fan sites such as this one.

I have the same issue. DualSense is not turning the PS5 on anymore, and I actually need to press the console button twice to turn it on now.

Today the main menu didn't even load and I had to do a force shutdown.

It worked fine before. I'm sad with the latest updates. And I couldn't even find a support email from Sony to help out.

Hey @get2sammyb, any chance you folks can reach Sony out for a statement about this? I actually read in Reddit that this is happening to several people.

@RenanKJ I think it will take more than several people on Reddit for Sony to take any notice. Maybe if everyone tweeted at them or left a comment on their Facebook page, maybe. But even then I doubt it.
