Topic: Final Fantasy 7 Remake (PS Plus)

Hey, all. I just have a quick question about the FF7 remake.

I bought my FF7 remake on my PS4 when it was free for PS Plus not knowing that I wouldn't be able to upgrade once I got my PS5. And I've continuously played at least a good 13 hours via the PS4 data transfer on my PS5. The whole time I was thinking that that was the PS5 "upgrade" 🤦. I'm just curious if I bought the PS5 version of the game, would I still be able to keep my save data from my PS4 version or would I have to start the whole game over again?

You should be able to upload your save to the cloud or usb, download and start the ps5 version, then manually download the save file from the cloud or usb.

There should be an option in game to transfer your save to the PS5 version if you’ve got the latest patch.

Changing game version shouldn’t be an issue as far as I’m aware.
