i've just got a ps5 in March and downloaded the PS4 version of Control back in Feb to my PS4 when it was on Playstation Plus. I watched a video on youtube on how to upgrade it but the PS5 option isn't anywhere when I click on the elipses either from my games or playstation plus library. I thought deleting it and then going to redownload it might prompt me for the PS5 version but no luck. Any ideas pls?
Unfortunately I've seen a few other people mention this and it looks like it's not possible unless you added the PS5 version to your library while it was on Plus. It kinda sucks because adding it via the mobile app added both version but doing it through the PS4 store apparently didn't
@scg1889 Yeah, unfortunately if you claimed the game from your PS4 I think it only gave you that version. If you claimed it from the app or the web store then you claimed the Ultimate Edition, which has both. They weren’t really clear about that. It would have been nice if they warned us about that beforehand.
