Topic: Trophies how do they work and how do u get them?

I don't know much about the Trophy system all I know is there are 4 trophies Platinum, Gold, Silver Bronze correct? Like how do u get the Trophies are they based off achievements mainly I take it? Like I am getting Bronze and Silver but rarely getting Gold and Platinum why is it hard to get Platinum and Gold are these trophies only doable on the hardest mode of each game and getting these achievements while playing the hardest modes on them games?

@Davehunt You can get trophies from doing specific achievements in a game. Bronze are the easiest ones to get, then Silver trophies are a bit tougher to get, then Gold trophies are generally very rare and tricky. Platinum is a special trophy, usually only obtained from collecting every other trophy in a game.

If you go to the Trophy section of the PS4 home screen, it can show you a list of all the trophies in a game.
