Sony already shut down their Twitter support, now they're sending out emails to ordinary gamers to volunteer to become PlayStation's new support team.
(well, technically you'll get paid up to $1 per question answered.) Only open to some US states right now though.

I can see it now. "How do I fix this NP-blahblah error I get every time I start my Vita?" "I dunno, I'm just a regular gamer like you, I don't have access to PlayStation documentation to know what that error means."
I never had any luck with @AskPlaystation but this sounds a whole lot worse to me.
Edit: If you try to volunteer to be PS support, it specifically says not to answer questions about Persona 5 Royal trophies, but you can answer about other games. 🤣 Have people been bombarding support with questions about P5R trophies!?
