I've got a PS4 but with no controller, I've got a Logitech G29 wheel but when I connect it up and press the PS button to setup the PS4 nothing happens. Do you have to setup a PS4 with a dual shock controller and can it be done with a wheel? Thanks!!
@Stevo99 pretty sure it can be done just with the wheel. Is it set to PS4 mode? Might be worth getting your hands on a PS4 controller though, they are useful
@antdickens thanks, yep, set to PS4 mode. The wheel rotates to calibrate but when the screen comes up to say attach controller and I press the PS button, nothing happens. I'm only planning to play racing games so thought I would get away with not needing controller! I've checked all leads and seem fine so not sure what I'm doing wrong!
@Stevo99 I'm pretty sure when I press the PS button on mine it just "works" rather than needing to do anything else. However, if you've never used it before maybe you need a normal controller to get everything synced up, not sure to be honest.
Works fine with no controller! Am I on the right forum to resolve an issue I have?
My g29 stops randomly in races and the recalibrates itself (normally chucking you in the gravel!) The steering wheel itself seems a bit floppy too! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
i also have an issue with the g29 wheel with ps4 ....... i have a controller and wheel ...... when its turned on the wheel will centralize and everything ( i think .... as im new to this ) works other than the wheel and pedals ...... im at a loss to work out the issue ...... i also only wont to use racing games ....
