Topic: Ps4 bips 2 times before shutting down

It never happened before, anyone know the possible reason?

I hope is not that bad, mine is a brand new ps4.

Someone from reddit suggested it might be a network error, but I have to gather more info to be sure.

I don't think you need to remove your hard drive, probably not the best advice unless you are sure that will solve the problem.

I did a quick Google search and the most popular answer that can up is either something did not close down properly before the console was turned off or the console lost connection to the internet so won't receive any updates.

You can uncheck 'connect to the internet's under network settings on the PS4, and see if it beeps when you turn it off.

Sorry I think I probably misunderstood. Is it beeping when you tell it to shut down or is it shutting down at unexpected times like when you’re playing a game?

It doesnt shut down unexpectedly. The bip is no more by the way
