Topic: If I renew my PS+ now does it void the six weeks I have left on my current PS+ subscription?

Hi guys,

My PlayStation Plus subcription ends in less than six weeks or so. I've bought a new PSN 50USD card, and I was wondering if I could renew it using my wallet funds right now and not worry to renew it on the day it expires. Or do I have to renew it on the exact day it expires because it might void the six weeks that I have left on my current subscription? I came across some online reports saying that the renewals don't stack. Thanks.

They stack. It will just add the year or how ever much you add on top of how many days you have left.

Thanks, Splat. I was worried that I could lose the time that I have left on my current subscription.

Pretty sure it's set to renew automatically by default anyway, but if not you can just turn that on and it'll take the money at the required time with no gap in service and without you having to lift a finger!

From 16/08/15 I’m going for sober for six months to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice. Donations can be made here and anything you can offer is greatly appreciated: https://www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Butler5

Wish me luck!

Funny coincidence, I literally just got the email through confirming the automatic renewal of my PS+ sub!

I turned the Automatic Renewal off. Figured I'd just buy 50USD PSN card if I need to extend/renew it.

I never have automatic renewal or use my cards for payment. I use CDKeys (primarily) for buying PS+, Gold as well as for credit. It works out cheaper!

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

I know this has already been answered, but I recently added a year to my PS Plus account, and can 100% guarantee it stacks.

Yea, I'll be getting my PSN card soon. Thx
