Topic: Genres Shooter, Role Playing and Action+Adventure are gone from EU PS Stores

This happened like a couple of weeks ago and it seems like no one cares. Shouldn't this be a big deal? If you want to look through any of these genres for games well now you need to know the name of the game you are looking for. No more window shopping for any of these genres because for no reason I can understand they are simply gone from the EU stores.

Yeah as a buyer of physical copies, I only ever really check the sales on the store... that or if I wanted to see a particular game's price I'd just search it specifically.

The reason I see it as a big deal is because all the smaller titles, the ones you don't know the names of are now just lost. Also under the genre section every genre is there except the big 3 of Action, Shooter and RPG. I personally do see this as a big deal. Not a Jim Ryan out fanboy nonsense. Just a nonsensical removal of a useful feature.

And I am surprised no one else seems bothered about it. If you wanted to find a title from one of these genres but you have forgotten the name you've just lost a very easy way of finding it.

@BlaizeV sorry if I came off as picking holes dude, you're actually right... for a lot of people it was probably very useful

edit. and for the record, I actually don't want Jim Ryan out... I just think it's amusing to tag it on everything either negative or positive that involves PlayStation these days.

Maybe they're gonna change them to something more specific. Action adventure especially seemed way too vague to me and contained most of everything

I make sure to check the new games section every other day so I don’t miss any games I might find interesting.
