Topic: Digital game copy, Multiple profiles & PS+ Related Question

I have a PS4 in my house which both me and my brother use, but we use different PSN accounts on different profiles on the PS4.

We bought the PS+ subscription on his PSN account, on his profile, but since we're on the same PS4, we are both able to play games in online multiplayer, even though not both our PSN accounts have a PS+ subscription, but only his.
Now, i want to pre-order COD BO3 on my PSN account. Since you obviously cant pre-order a game as a physical copy, i have to buy it digitaly through the store (i want to pre-order, not to wait for the game to come out).
My question is, if i pre-order the game through my PSN account, which does not have a PS+ subscription, but again, another user on the same PS4 has a PS+ subscription, will i be able to play this game in online multiplayer too, even though i bought it through my PSN account which does not have a PS+ sub? (Sorry for the extreme over repeating, i just want to make sure that things are as clear as possible).

As long as both accounts are activated as primary accounts, you should not have any problem. You just need 1 account on the box with PS Plus

@Ofekefrath: I'm confused as to why you think it's not possible to preorder physical copies of games? Most big new releases can be preordered from pretty much every online retailer going, and will arrive with you on release day. Much cheaper than PSN too!

Also unless there is a discount for plus I would buy games on your account.

Oh yeah, i ment that i wouldnt be able to get all kinds of stuff like early beta access and theme, and maybe DLC's idk. so i want to pre-order through the PSN Store. and thanks @malouff

@Ofekefrath: Oh ok fair enough. To be honest I think you'd still be better pre-ordering through an online retailer, unless you're absolutely gagging for a free theme. The beta early access is supposed to be from all participating retailers (so Amazon & Game are included in the UK), not just PSN pre-orders. And I would expect that it is more likely you might get some small DLC bonuses via the retailers, as places like GAME usually have this sort of thing.

Obviously if digital is a major selling point for you then go for it, but at the moment it sounds like you'll be paying more for stuff you'd potentially get elsewhere anyway (especially if the main deciding factor is the early beta access).

I pre-ordered the Hardened edition (originally had the standard edition pre-ordered) and in both cases, I have a Beta code. In pre-ordering the Hardened Edition, I also get 3 personalisation packs (2 from BO2 and a BO3 one), a steelbook case, a remake of 'Der Reise' Zombie map (the Giant), Art Cards (I believe these are of the 'Specialists') and a digital copy of the soundtrack. I am a bit disappointed it doesn't come with the Season Pass but I bet it will arrive on the day of release, if not sooner!
Being on disc, I know it will work on any console if I opt to lend it to anyone or can even sell it if I needed. Having had to or wanted to replace my consoles in the past (such as YLOD with my original PS3), I have all my games on disc. I know I could re-download the games but based on how long 1 takes, I really wouldn't want to re-download 10+. I have no plans to replace my PS4 but if they released a much better and/or bigger HDD version (like the numerous PS3 variations), I may be tempted in 3-4 years time.
It could be awkward if you don't own the disc and you or your brother moves out...
