Topic: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy -OT-

In a few days, Crash is finally back! What a year to be a gamer, ladies and gentleman.

Do you guys think it's worth paying full price, though? Or should we dive into our backlogs first and let the price comes down after inevitably selling a lot?

And most importantly, what are you looking forward the most in this remake? =)

@renankj well luckily "full price" is 39.99. Absolutely worth it at that price. Now, I don't necessarily have the money this week but I will pick it up when I can!

@KratosMD You missed the best ones, haha. Crash 1 is great, but much like Uncharted, 2 and 3 improved a lot. Analog control instead of d-pad can help a little, I'm with you there, it's a great feature to have now. =)

@ztpayne7 Yup, I noticed that yesterday, haha. But in Brazil it's still R$ 149.99 (standard full price is around R$ 249.99), which is about 10% of my salary, haha. Granted, I'm a graduate student working as an intern, but still.

@renankj @ztpayne7 I normally haunt sales and will totally wait a year to get a game for 20 bucks.... But I actually pre-ordered it because it was cheaper than standard and I didn't know if the price would go up. 3 games for that price totally worth it - especially since the kids could also play them.

Got it on Amazon Prime for £25. Better than download of £34.99.

And looking forward to? Crash 1 not sucking.

I never played Crash growing up but my wife did with her cousin. She told me how he'd get so mad at the game and would throw the controller. Is it a frustrating game? I really want to try it out but I'm worried if it is I won't bother trying to finish it. (Edit: I played that little part of Crash in Uncharted 4 and was pretty bad at it haha)

@ArkhamKnerd it isn't dark souls, if that's what you mean. It's s classic 3D platformer - so as long as you can jump, run, etc with good timing you should be fine.

@KratosMD Question, have you heard if the developer is to revamp the dreadful game save system that the games "especially the first one" were infamous for?

@renankj Crash Bandicoot was an all time favourite for me so was over the moon when the trilogy was announced for a remake after so long.Am I going to wait for a price drop?hell no!I preordered the moment I was able besides,buying day one helps give them an idea who REALLY wanted it and the better it does the more chance of an original game to follow..

@get2sammyb when does the embargo lift? Or is there an embargo-embargo? Or no review copy at all?

You are right, it releases on Friday and not a single review yet. I have it preordered but am curious myself. To see how much has changed or if they added something.

Thanks a lot for that video. There were quite a few things I did not know.

This thing is probably not very good - I mean, they haven't changed the gameplay and it wasn't that great to on PSOne - but I've still already got it downloaded on my system and ready to go. Nostalgia, man.

I heard something about dlc that contains unused levels from the original games, don't know whether thats true or not.

I paid my preorder two days ago, so I'll get it tomorrow. Hopefully a new Crash comes from this selling well.
