Am loving the new PS4. The new DS4 controller is perfect in every way EXCEPT the face buttons are too noisy, compared to DS3. Clack, clack, clack. Makes it sound cheap.
I haven't noticed that but I also usually turn the volume on the game up so loud it's hard to hear anything. I might actually try and listen for this now one day, just for kicks. Either way, I still think the DS4 is a vast improvement over previous DualShocks.
What? They sound the exact same. Anyway that's a weird thing to complain about.
They don't. Button down presses are similar. Button releases do not sound same. When you release the buttons they feel / sound / rattle worse. Press down a face button and then lift (repeatedly) keeping contact with the button. My DS3 buttons are silent in comparison. Anyhow, I suppose cranking the volume or wearing earphones will overcome this "weirdness". :lol:
Ironically the square button is the worst affected face button. :/
