Several weeks ago, the PS3 "lost" my saved password. When I entered it, it said invalid. It was valid, I could still use it to access my account on the computer. I changed my password, and was able to use that to get into PS3...for about a week. I have been changing my password every 7-10 days when it is rejected by the PS3. This fix has been working to get me in. Today, PS3 says I have been banned or temporarily suspended from PSN. What is going on? Is there any way to actually talk to knowledgeable support? Is there a limit on password changes? Any ideas? Thanks
@grannyburd22 Exactly the same happened to me months ago. I couldn't sign back in, and even the link to set up the 2nd password would never work. I tried and tried and even got help from here. Nothing would work for me, so I ended up putting CFW on it. It's the best thing I did on my PS3 to be honest. Now it's a beast of a console. Sorry you can't sign in, but it happens to a lot of people. I'm not really helping you, but thought I would share my story...
@grannyburd22 I just remembered something. Some years ago I couldn't sign in to my PSN. I called Sony and they helped me get back in. They ask questions to make sure it's you. The most annoying thing they asked me was 'what were the first 5 games you ever bought on PSN ?'. Luckily I remembered and was back on in no time. Maybe call them ?
